: External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar has revealed that he is very optimistic about India-US relations. He made these comments at a joint press conference held with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken. Responding to the question about the relations between the two countries.. “I am very optimistic about the relations between our two countries. I am saying this very directly. Especially in the last four years, there have been major changes in the diplomatic relations between the two countries. Your question is how I see this path..? Honestly speaking.. America is closer now. Especially countries like India have opened ways to get closer. Thinking beyond traditional alliances. Very well prepared platforms to work effectively with partners. Look at the quad.. which has not worked much for the last two decades. But, now it is working very effectively. Especially since two years this change is visible. Together with America, we are working together to change the direction of the world. We will move forward together with America. There will be more such cases in the future,” he said.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said, “Being the two largest democracies in the world, there are many opportunities and capabilities to change the course of this century. I am happy to say that India and America are working together like never before. It does not mean that there are no differences of opinion between us.. there are.. there will be in the future as well. It was possible because of the deep quality bond between us. We will talk about all issues,” he explained.
