Lokayukta officials on Monday trapped Kiran G. Hingali,Labour Inspector,Tumkur red handed while receiving a bribe of Rs.5,000 from a shop keeper to renew his shop license.
Based on a complaint from the shop keeper -Harsha of Alaboor Chndrapura, Turuvekere Taluk, Tumakuru District , a team of officials laid the trap and arrested Kiran .
It is alleged that Harsha had a shop on MG road in Tumakuru and applied for the renewal of license. Kiran was demanding the bribe to renew the license .
