C hief Minister Basavaraj Bommai stressed on making Karnataka best in all fields.
Speaking at the inaugural function of Dasara-2022 atop Chamundi Hill in which President Draupadi Murmu participated here on Monday,he said they need to work to build the economy, social,education and religious fields.
The lives of the poor must be uplifted.The thinking of wishing the welfare of everything must be given importance.Through this the state of Karnataka must be taken on the path of progress.Past glory.
The CM said this year,Dasara festival has made specialties as it was celebrated after a gap of two years.
The government has decided to celebrate it in the most meaningful and grand manner. Dasara is ‘Naada Habba’ and it is celebrated in the houses of all working classes,farmers and common people.
The Goddess Chamundeshwari must be prayed to bless the state with peace, prosperity and growth.
All of them are fortunate that the goddess has blessed Karnataka with good rains and crops. The ‘Shakthi Peeta’ which is established atop Chamundi Hill has given strength for the entire State and because of this,Dasara would used to be celebrated in a grand manner during the days of Maharajas of Mysuru and it had been continued even in democratic set up.
The current development of Karnataka was important along with the past glory of this ‘Naada Habba’.
There are several challenges in nature but the government was heading towards people’s welfare effectively.
“It is a rare and happy occasion that President of India Draupadi Murmu inaugurated Dasara 2022. There has been no instance of the President inaugurating Dasara festival in recent years.
It is her first visit to Karnataka after she became the President.She is considered blessed as she got an opportunity to offer puja to Goddess Chamundeshwari and this shows her devotion and diligence”Bommai said.
He said Dasara symbolises a victory of good over bad and it is a most auspicious day to cleanse our atma by staying away from evil thinking.
They must vow to adopt good values in their lives.
Union Coal,Mining and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi, Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare State Minister Shobha Karandlaje, Co-Operation and District-In-Charge Minister S.T.Somashekar, Energy and Kannada & Culture Minister K.Sunil Kumar, MP Pratap Simha and MLAs, S.A.Ramdas, Tanveer Sait and L.Nagendra were present.
