West Bengal Honored in Jal Jeevan Mission

Abhijit Ray, Kolkata: This year Bengal is again being honored for good work in central projects. The Government of West Bengal has been deemed worthy to be honored for its special contribution to the Jal Jeevan project. On that occasion today the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee tweeted the same. She has also thanked the Union Ministry of Water Resources for recognizing the contribution of the state.Chief Minister Mamata Banerjeetoday said, that “I am happy to announce today that West Bengal has been selected for a special honor for exemplary performance in ‘Pariman’ permits under Jal Jeevan Mission. This award proves how dedicated and committed officers are in public service. We will continue to serve the people with utmost devotion by highlighting our public interest approach. Bengal will show the way always”. No doubt at the era of Mamata Banerjee, Bengal is able to get many of the Central Honor.
