Today, Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan addressed the International Conclave on “Digital Transformation and Internationalization of the Higher Education”, organised by Deakin University in association with Tata Consultancy Services.
He spoke about India-Australia collaboration in education & skill sectors, India’s demographic dividend and digitisation, knowledge-based cultural ethos of India, role of #NEP2020 inshaping the future and internationalisation of education.
Shri Dharmendra Pradhan said that India is embracing a new “Digital Lifestyle” that encompasses many efforts such as indigenous 5G by end of 2023, digital payments, upcoming digital university and networking all villages with high-speed internet, etc.
Shri Dharmendra Pradhan further spoke about the need for new knowledge networks with international institutions and emphasized on a digital knowledge network which is aligned with India’s ethos of ‘Vidya Daan’.
