Tirumala: The Salakatla Brahmotsavam of Lord Srivenkateswara Swami, the living deity of Kali Yuga, is being celebrated in Tirumala. On Thursday morning, the third day of the Brahmotsavam, Swami appeared to the devotees as Yoga Nrisimha on a lion chariot. Nrisimha is the fourth incarnation of Lord Jagannayak. The lion vehicle is symbolic of the training of the wicked and the protection of the righteous. Lion is the ideal of vehicle power and swift movement power in yoga science. In Vishnu’s Sahasra Namas, there is Simha Stotram as a name for the Lord. Those who have the devotion of a lion will get the blessings of Swami.
