CM Bommai calls upon students to develop humanity and simple personality

T he educational institutions are the centres of knowledge and they must infuse humanity and simple personality in their students,said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.

Speaking at the inauguration of St Joseph University on Lal Bagh Road in which President Droupadi Murmu participated here on Tuesday, he said the President is a very simple person and had served as teacher, elected representative and Governor.

While her name was nominated for the post of President,she was cleaning a temple in her hometown and this will hold a mirror to her simplicity.There is history in the country but they need character.Development of personality in students is very important.

A centre of knowledge

The CM said St Joseph Educational Institution has a history of a century and it has created its impression not only in Bengaluru but also across the State.

The alumni of this institution have made a laudable contribution to the society.Even this institution was giving a lot of impetus on development of personality in students and quality education.

For this reason,the students wish to study in this college for a better future and better life.This institution did not grow in a day but it took several years to grow thanks to the contributions by principals, teachers and students.

This century-old institution had witnessed several changes in the field of education.The 21st century is the century of knowledge and it was happy to note that the institution was imparting knowledge to its students.

Under the program of upgrading an educational institution as a university, the government has picked St Joseph Educational institution and it will go a long way in the further improvement of the chain of educational institutions.
