Alert Officials of Food and Civil supplies on Saturday seized 34 bags of PDS rice being transported in a goods autorickshaw on Yelahanka service road.
Based on a tip off,a team led by Inspector, Kemparaju A,intercepted the vehicle near Cyber crime police station.
The driver abandoned the vehicle and sped away. The officials found 34 sacks of PDS rice meant for Annabhagya scheme.
The vehicle has been handed over to Yelahanka police for further investigations and a case under essential commodities Act has been registered for further investigations.
