I ndian Railways has joined hands with Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) for providing Aadhaar related services at Railway Stations.
As a pilot project South Western Railway, Bengaluru Division has opened its first Aadhaar Centre at KSR Bengaluru City Railway station (concourse area) on Monday.
The Aadhaar centre was inaugurated by Shyam Singh Divisional Railway Manager,South Western Railway,Bengaluru Division and R.S.Gopalan, Deputy Director General,UIDAI.
Aadhaar Centre is open for Indian Residents from 10:00 hrs to 17:00 hrs (Monday to Saturday) to avail the following services:
A) Aadhaar generation.
B) Mandatory Biometric Update.
C) Demographic / Biometric or both update.
D) Aadhaar search using e-KYC/Find Aadhaar / Colour print out on A4 sheet.
Rs.50/-will be charged for each Demographic/biometric updates and Rs.30/- will be charged for each Aadhaar search using e-KYC, find Aadhaar and colour print out.
