West Bengal Received Several SKOCH Governance Award’s –Chief Minister Mamta Banerjee’s Governance awarded again

Abhijit Ray, Kolkata:One after another Scotch Award was recognized by West Bengal Government. Mamata Banerjee’s government has again been honored with the SKOCH Award for its achievements in various areas of administration. The State Forest Department, Madrasa and Minority Development Department and Bankura District received the Scotch Award in three separate categories. The State Forest Department has received the Scotch Platinum Award for its success in conducting ‘joint forest operations’.Bankura District won Silver Award for ‘Operation Pusthi’ project to eliminate malnutrition among mothers and children. State Madrasa and Minority Development Department received Gold Award for ‘Eikyasree Scholarship’ at the same time. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee  is extremely happy to receive multiple SKOCH Awards.The Chief minister wrote, “My heartiest congratulations and best wishes to both the departments. May we achieve greater heights to ensure the prosperity of the people.Earlier, Bengal held the SKOCH Awards in Education, Arts category. Note that this award is given in various categories for the efficiency of running the government. The state achieved this award in the Forests and Environment category in the Scottish State of Governance Report-21. Bengal has won the SKOCH Award several times before. The state transport department recently received an award. This award was announced earlier. This award is for outstanding work achievement.It may be noted that West Bengal was selected for Scotch Award for various achievements including launch of online service in industry department, creation of 500 new policies in industry sector. State Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee informed that the state received the award for various reasons including about 100 online services, about 500 industrial problem solving policies.
