The Upparpet police have registered a case against two brothers who forged the signature of former BBMP Executive engineer to claim the pending bills .
The accused Srinivas and his brother Vadivelu were given work order to maintain a public toilet close to Bangalore one office in Gandhi Nagar.
The duo forged the signature of the then Executive Engineer,Uday Kumar B Talawar to claim the bills from July-2020 to December 2022.
The cheating came to light during audit by Joint Commissioner (west ) zone,seeking legal action against the accused for cheating the BBMP and incurring loss to the exchequer.
