She told that ‘I will have a meeting with the officers but my humble request to the state people that first you check the weather and then only go outside. Be extremely careful in stormsand bets. If there is a storm, you will see your own life first.Inaugurating the Kali Puja in Janbazar, the Chief Minister also said about the victims of the Ban ofMal River and told that, “I went to Malbazar and met the victim’s family members there.The Chief Minister said on this day, “I live on the banks of Ganges River, and these are the places of Rani Rasmani. I made a ghat in front of my house. In context of the probable cyclonic weather in West Bengal, the e Low-Pressure Area over north Andaman Sea and south-east Bay of Bengal is likely to concentrate into a depression on Saturday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has said. It is predicted to further intensify into a cyclonic storm over west-central Bay of Bengal by Monday (October 24), and reach the coasts of West Bengal and Bangladesh on Tuesday (October 25), skirting the Odisha coast.West Bengal is also likely to witness rains, high wind speeds and rough seas. At a high-level meeting, Chief Secretary H K Dwivedi alerted South 24 Parganas, North 24 Parganas, Purba Medinipur, Paschim Medinipur and Hooghly districts to take necessary measures to prepare for the storm.
