Two including woman visitor caught red handed by KSISF officials of Central Prison trying to handover the contraband drugs to undertrial

Alert security personnel of Karnataka State Industrial Security Force on tuesday busted an attempt to smuggle five grams of MDMA in an unique way and caught two persons including a woman trying to handover the contraband to an undertrial waiting for the consignment.

The accused Sujatha and vijay,both residents of Manjunathanagar had come to meet their relative,Naveen Kumar,at around 5.10 pm.

While undergoing security check at the main gate,Sharaiah,the jailor and Amaresh B Shirol,the superintendent found the sticker at the backside of the pants loop was unusual and checked thoroughly.

To their shock,the officials recovered two plastic pouches concealed inside the sticker containing five grams of MDMA worth Rs.30,000.

The duo along with the drugs was handed over to Parappana Agrahara police for further investigations.

This is is the third such incident of since last Saturday as two more attempts to smuggle 90 grams of Hasish oil filled in a toothpaste tube was caught by the security personnel in two separate incidents.

The parappana Agrahara police who have taken up all the three cases said that the drug smuggling cases unabated in the high security central prison.

The prime accused who are under trails and convicts are consumers and peddlers inside the prison.

What is more shocking is that smuggling of drugs inside the prison continue unabated with different strategies despite multi-layered security checks at the prison in place .

In October this year,Head constable at the security check at Central Prison of Parappana Agrahara caught two youth trying to smuggle 3grams of brown sugar concealed in the fly of a pant zipper,which they were planning to hand over to their associate lodged in the prison as an undertrial

In July this year: A Woman police constable Asha Rani,while frisking Chaya T.R,found a plastic bottle of coconut oil concealed in her private part.

Chaya had come to meet her relative under trial, Kalappa,and was subjected to frisking after she was given the visitor’s pass.

Further verification found that the bottle had 55 grams of Hashish oil.

In June this year :A woman was arrested for attempt to smuggle hashish oil for her son lodged at the Parappana Agrahara Central Prison.
