Jhargram Medical College Admission Process Started- new Medical College at West Bengal

The first-year admission process of students in Jhargram Government Medical College started on Wednesday with the beginning of the journey to the six new medical colleges of the state with the efforts of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. The long-time dream of the people of Jhargram has come true.Principal of Jhargram Medical College Sudeshna Majumder said, “The classes will start on November 15. This hospital has 100 seats approved. 100 students will be admitted in the first year. This time Jhargram District Hospital will be upgraded to Medical College. District Super Specialty Hospital campus and another campus built on 30 acres of government land. Reading will continue in both campuses.Birbaha Hansda, MLA and Self-Employment Minister, said, “Very happy news. A matter of pride. Many thanks to the leader Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Children of Jhargram will study medicine from their own district. Not only in Jhargram, the admission process has started in six new medical colleges. This will increase the number of doctors, the service will also improve.
