An Abduction case of Delhi based model ended with a happy note but it was a 12 hours nightmare for the city police until they cracked the case .

The victim,who worked in Delhi had come to visit her friend in Subbaianapalya for few days in Banaswadi on a scooter in the wee hours of 4 am.

While riding the scooter she experienced giddiness due to low BP and stopped the bike on roadside and called her friend for help.Her friend a 30-year-old man,working in a private firm rushed to her help and later booked a cab to take her house.

When the cab reached the destination,the friend carried the model into the taxi and they hurried.
Meanwhile,Shekhar, a private firm employee passing-by noticed the entire incident and called 112,police control room mistaking it as abduction and reported the matter.

The message was flashed and the Banaswadi police led by Inspector Santosh Kumar, immediately swung into action and reached the spot.

The police recovered the abandoned scooter and with the help of registration number traced to Shivamoga and sought the help of jurisdictional police .

The police using the registration details reached the house but the house was locked.The police inquired the neighbours and found a mobile number and tried to call, but there was no response.

Meanwhile another team of police,analyzed the CCTV footage to track down the cab which ferried the victim by this time,City police commissioner, Pratap Reddy and DCP Command Centre, Ramarajan and DCP East Division Dr.Bheemashankar S Guled,and Superintendent of Police,CID,MN Anucheth,supervised the entire operation.

Using the mobile tower location,the police zeroed in on the area and started knocking the doors of around 50 houes to check before zeroing in on the victim.

The victim by then recovered and came out to noticing the police presence and said that her scooter is missing.The registration number given by the woman matched with the scooter seized by the police.

A detailed questioning with the woman concluded that it was a genuine mistake by a concerned citizen.
