Today – Hyderabad, Nalgonda: A car rammed into the Congress Fort.. Earlier, the pink flag flew on the ground. With the victory in this by-election, Teresa has tied the Kashaya Dala which wanted to beat Boni in the joint Nalgonda district. Vijaya Ketana flew with the support of the left parties. Congress, which lost its seat, did not even get a deposit. BSP is limited to nominal votes. It is noteworthy that more than five thousand votes were cast for car-like symbols. The counting of votes in the by-election held on Sunday was exciting throughout. The difference between the votes between Teresa and the BJP, who faced each other fiercely, was only slightly visible in the rounds, and for a moment there was a situation of whether you are the one. Finally the rose blossomed.. the lotus could not bloom.
Karu has shown dominance in the much-hyped previous by-election. Terasa candidate Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy won with a majority of 10,309 votes over his closest rival, BJP candidate Komati Reddy Rajagopal Reddy in this hotly contested and highly prestigious election. Teresa got a lead of more than 4 percent votes. BJP’s hope of winning in Telangana by winning this by-election was not fulfilled. Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, who won the last election on behalf of the Congress, recently resigned and was the cause of the by-election, fought hard as a BJP candidate and was defeated. Palvai Sravanti, who contested on behalf of the Congress, was limited to the third position. The party lost the seat along with the deposit.
Teresa leads all but three rounds
The counting of the by-election votes was carried out on Sunday at the warehouses of the warehouse company in Arjalabavi, Nalgonda. The 2.25 lakh votes cast were divided into 15 rounds and counted. BJP was in the lead only in the second, third and 15th round… In all the remaining rounds, Teras got the majority. But in every round Teresa got a slight lead. As a result, there was excitement in both the parties as long as the counting was going on. BJP got majority of 841, 36, 88 votes in 2nd, 3rd and 15th rounds respectively. In Chautuppal Mandal, Teresa got the upper hand in all Mandals even though the votes were divided like you or me. Out of 298 polling booths, Teras got the upper hand in 182 places, BJP in 110 places and Congress in six places. Theresa and BJP got equal number of votes in each place. Congress got second position in some booths. There are more than ten booths like this. Teresa has the upper hand in the postal ballot as well. Teresa got a lead of 194 votes in the postal ballot and a total of 10,309 votes including two service votes. Although Teresa objected to not allocating car-like symbols to independents, it is noteworthy that more than five thousand votes were received for those symbols. BSP got 4,145 votes.
Car rush in all zones
While BJP did not get a lead in any mandal, the Congress, which wanted to get nominal votes, managed to get more votes in Chautuppal and other mandals. While BJP was hoping to get a good majority in Chautuppal mandal including the municipal body, the result was different. Terasa got lead in this mandal also. 63351 votes were counted in the four rounds including the entire Chautuppal mandal and some booths in the Narayanapur mandal, and in the first and fourth rounds, Teras got the lead and in the second and third rounds, the BJP got the lead. In total, Teresa got a majority of 714 votes. Rajagopal Reddy left the counting center after Terasa got some lead in this mandal, which was thought to be a positive environment for the BJP due to the urban environment and the large number of people who have settled in Hyderabad. He expressed disappointment that he did not get as many votes as he expected in Chautauqua. Sansthan Narayanapuram, Munugodu, Chandur, In Gattuppala, Marriguda and Nampally mandals, the ruling party got the upper hand. In Chandur Municipal Corporation, BJP is expected to get majority.. Teras got a majority of about 200 votes. The support of the Left parties benefited the Teresa candidate. This is evidenced by the favoring of Teras in the seats of Sarpanchi and MPTC, which have communist representatives.
Leaders who fought fiercely
Chief Minister KCR acted strategically from the beginning and deployed ministers, MLAs and other public representatives from the village level. Ministers KTR, Harish Rao, Jagdish Reddy etc. spread the word widely and found out where the problems were and solved them. KTR was active in coordination between leaders and roadshows. BJP candidate Rajagopal Reddy along with Etala Rajender, Vivek and others campaigned in the constituency, while Union Minister Kishan Reddy, State President Bandi Sanjay and others toured widely. Congress is going to lose in front of Teras, BJP’s campaign and financial strength. The main leaders of that party engaged in Bharat Jodo Yatra and campaigned only intermittently. However, because of the traditional vote bank, the Congress got about 23,000 votes and lost the BJP candidate.
Squatting BJP at the last stage
From the beginning, BJP focused on urban areas such as Chautuppal and Chandur Municipalities. It got a majority of more than a thousand votes in Chautuppal Municipality alone. While Teras showed a slight lead in Chandur… As Teras got majority in Munugodu, Chandur and Nampally mandals, the BJP’s victory became an unattainable grape. It is noteworthy that in Narayanapuram mandal, BJP got votes equal to Terasah in the background of expectations that it will get less votes than Congress. The BJP, which was limited to 12,725 (6.5 percent) votes in the 2018 elections, now with Rajagopal Reddy’s candidature, got 86,697 votes with 38.4 percent and suffered a narrow defeat.
Congress lost 39 percent votes
Congress got 97,239 votes in the 2018 elections, but now it got 23,906 votes. At that time, 49.6 percent of votes were lost, but now Congress has lost almost 39 percent of votes. Sources of the party revealed that compared to the exorbitant expenditure of Terasah and BJP, their workers worked without succumbing to any temptation. They claim that they got about 23 thousand votes in such a tense battle which proves their organizational strength.
Back to Teresa’s account..
After the formation of Telangana in the first election in 2014, Teresa won Munugoda. It is noteworthy that in the 2018 elections, Komati Reddy Rajagopal Reddy was the Congress candidate and won with a majority of 22,552 votes over his nearest Terasa candidate Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy. This time Koosukuntla Prabhakar Reddy got a majority of 10,309. In the 2018 election, Terasa candidate Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy got 74,687 votes with 38.1 percent…now he got 97,006 votes with an increase of about 5 percent to 43 percent.
Development has won
– Terasa candidate Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy
After 2014 people saw the improvement made by KCR and they won Terasa. People here have rejected BJP’s attempt to win with money. Communists joined us because they did not want to put the state in the hands of fanatics. Thank you to everyone who contributed to my success.
Do you respect public verdict –
BJP candidate Rajagopal Reddy
Do you respect people’s judgment? Teresa has killed democracy by obstructing power. Threats were made using the police system. The entire assembly came together to defeat me. Morally, I won only when all the MLAs, MLCs and MPs came to the feet of the people. My fight for people will continue.
Among the people
– Palvai Sravanti, Congress candidate
Even though Teras and BJP did bad politics with physical and mental strength, earlier voters supported me. Moral victory is mine. They tried to trouble me with morphing photos but the voters turned them down. Thanks to the voters and activists who stood by this difficult time. Even if defeated, I will be among the people. They will fight to solve their problems.
-Today, Nalgonda
Suspicious round after round
Eenadu-Hyderabad, Newstoday – Chautuppal, Munugodu: From the first round to the end of the Munugodu by-election, the contest between Teras candidate Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy and BJP candidate Komati Reddy Rajagopal Reddy was a tense contest. BJP won in three rounds and Terasah in 12 rounds. Finally the Teras candidate won.
