Rowdy-Sheeter among three associates arrested by Ashoknagar police for robbing owner of Bakery at knife point

The Ashoknagar police on Sunday arrested a 26-year-old rowdy-sheeter along with three of his associates for robbing owner of a bakery at knife point in broad day light on October 10.

The accused have been identified as Simon Gabriel,from Anepalya and his associates Sheikh Shafi, 26 from Saraipalya and Sikandar, 21 from Peenya.

Senior officer told reporters,the accused barged into the bakery armed with knife and threatened the owner and the customers .

They ran out to save their lives following which he emptied the cash box and escaped with Rs.20,000.

Based on the complaint,the police analyzed the CCTV footage to identify the accused and tracked him down in the outskirts of the city .

The trio have been booked under robbery and arms act and recovered the looted cash from them.
The police are also on the lookout for the fourth accused involved in the robbery who is presently on the run.
