Duo businessman turned habitual drug peddlers arrested by Anti-Narcotics squad of CCB Recovered 11.3 grams of Synthetic Drugs Worth Rs.5 Lakhs

The Narcotics wing of the CCB on Tuesday arrested two business management turned habitual peddlers and recovered 11.3 grams of synthetic drugs worth Rs.5 lakh from them.

The accused are S Vishnu Priya,22, her friend Sigil Verghese.Priya is from Kottayam,Kerala,and Verghese from Coimbatore .

Both did their BBA from a city college,where they were classmates and worked in a private company for few months before stated peddling drugs full time.

They live in a rented accommodation and work as tattoo artiste to cover up their actual business, a police officer, said.

The accused were arrested by police in a similar case and after coming out on prison, the duo continued to peddler the drugs to their clients .

The seized drugs includes MDMA crystals,Ecstasy pills and LSD strips.

The accused are part of the inter state drug peddling racket having links with few African national drug peddlers and from Kerala.

The duo was arrested in NDPS case and further investigations are on to ascertain their network.
