Abhijit Ray, Kolkata:For spreading indecent rumours and misinformation about Abhishek Banerjee 3-year-old child’s birthday – the Child Rights Protection Commission’s decided to to send a show cause notice to the state opposition leader Subhendu Adhikari. The Child Rights Protection’s Adviser Ananya Chakraborty said that the notice will reach him tomorrow. Abhishek Banerjee’s football club Diamond Harbor FC has achieved great success in the first year of its appearance in Kolkata football. Abhishek Banerjee’s club were promoted to the Premier Division after winning the First Division Championship match. Next year, the team will play in the B group of the Premier Division. To celebrate the success, a special event was organized last Sunday at a five-star hotel in Alipore. State Leader of Opposition and Nandigram BJP MLA Subhendu Adhikari’s ‘misleading’ tweet claiming that the football club event was Abhishek’s ‘son’s birthday party’.He claimed that Abhishek threw his son’s birthday party in that five-star hotel. So the hotel was wrapped in a tight security blanket. He tweeted :
Grand Celebrations tonight at Taj Bengal !!! Security has been beefed up for the Birthday Party of Koyla Bhaipo’s son. Over 500 Policemen, Bomb Squad & Dog Squad have been deployed to Guard the venue. Door Frame Metal Detectors & Hand-held Metal Detectors are in place.
It is proved that Subhendu’s claim is completely baseless as it is being seen at Abhishek’s Facebook post. At the end of the ceremony, Brazil’s star footballers were greeted with a quote from football superstar Pele. Abhishek Banerjee had also shared several pictures of the event with him. Abhishek did not attend any family function in that five-star hotel, those pictures are proof of that.
