Sriharikota: A wonderful moment has been discovered in the field of Indian space travel. The country’s first private rocket has landed in Ninggi. Satish Dhawan Space Center (SHAR) in Sriharikota, Tirupati district was the venue for this launch. At 11.30 am on Friday, the first private rocket ‘Vikram-S’ went into Ningi from the Sounding Rocket Complex in Shar. The scientists declared the experiment a success.

Hyderabad-based Skyroot Aerospace Private Limited Company.. Vikram-Suborbital (VKS) has developed this private rocket. This first mission was named ‘Saarn’. Union Minister Jitendra Singh was present to watch the experiment. Originally, the experiment was supposed to be carried out on the 12th of this month, but it was postponed to today due to unfavorable weather. Vikram-S rocket is a single stage sub-orbital launch vehicle. This rocket carried three payloads into space.

Tribute to Vikram Sarabhai..

The private sector was allowed to enter the space sector only two years ago in our country. Since then Skyroot Aerospace has been involved in the development of this rocket. Pawan Kumar, the CEO of the company, previously revealed that this rocket was made within two years at a very low cost. It has been revealed that their rocket has been named ‘Vikram-S’ as a tribute to Vikram Sarabhai, a famous scientist who pioneered space experiments in our country. Skyroot has recently raised an investment of 51 million dollars (about Rs. 408 crores) for this rocket launch. Mukesh Bansal, the founder of Myntra, and Sriram, a member of the Google board, are among those who have invested in this company.

Payload designed by students..

One of the payloads carried by the Vikram-S rocket into space belongs to a foreign company, while two belong to our country’s companies. One of these is the 2.5 kg ‘Fun-Sat’ payload developed by Chennai-based Spacekidz. It was created by students from America, Singapore and Indonesia along with our country.
