The CCB officials of Women Protection wing headed by ACP,Smt.Reena Suvarna along with PI,Hazresh Khilladhar and his team raided a lodge in cottonpet, Kalasipalya and City market police station and rescued seven women who were holed up in secret chambers of the room to escape police raid.
Senior officer told reporters,Based on a tip off,a team of women protection wing headed by ACP,Smt.ReenaSuvarna and team of police carried search at Durga palace lodge and rescued the women from the secret chambers..
The team also raided Vasavi lodge safeer boarding and lodge in city market and kalasipalya and arrested six people running the racket..
During investigation it was revealed that the accused are sourcing the girls from different states offering decent jobs and salaries through their agents.
Once the women landed at their lodge they were forced into flesh trade through blackmail and sometimes lured with quick money.
They were locked up in secret chambers of the lodge when police raid and later they used to display to their regular customers.
The police have raided the lodged and sealed them earlier but the accused were operating again after getting out on bail.
Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,CH Pratap Reddy has appreciated Joint CP Crime,Dr SD Sharanappa DCP, Yathish Chandra,ACP,Women Protection Wing,Smt.Reena Suvarna,PI,Hazaresh Khilladhar and his whole team for their excellent and meticulous investigation in busting the racket and unearthing the secret room racket a suitable reward will be given to whole team he added.
