A 67-year-old man who was missing since Wednesday after venturing out of the house found dead under mysterious circumstances in Puttenahalli on Thursday.
The deceased R Balasubramanian,having cardiac problem and suffering from diabetes,BP and thyroid problems and under medication since many years.
On Wednesday, he went to drop his grandson for a badminton class and called his daughter-in-law to inform that he has some work to attend to and would be back by 7 pm.
However when he did not return even after late night worried family members tried to call on his mobile phone but it was switched off .
The family members reportedly searched for him and inquired about him with the relatives and friends.
On Thursday morning Puttenahalli police informed them about the death and the family rushed to JP Nagar rose garden,17th d cross to find Balasubramanian lying dead on roadside.
B Sundaram,son of the deceased in his complaint said that the body was wrapped in two bedsheets and the face and legs are wrapped with a plastic sheet.There was no visible injury and blood and the death was very suspicious.
Based on the complaint,the police have registered a case of suspicious death and awaiting post-mortem report for further investigation.
