The investigation of the case of ‘baiting MLAs’ which created political heat in Telangana is continuing. There was confusion in the notices issued by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) as part of the investigation.

Hyderabad: The investigation of the case of ‘baiting MLAs’ which created political heat in Telangana is continuing. There was confusion in the notices issued by the Special Investigation Team (SIT) as part of the investigation. BL has issued SIT notices to Santhosh and Karimnagar-based lawyer Srinivas for having a phone with the same number and the same IMEI number. The mobile number mentioned in the notices issued to both of them and the corresponding IMEI numbers were the same, leading to confusion. It needs to be clarified whether there was a mistake while copying and pasting the notices…or whether the notices were sent to determine who has the phone number as part of the investigation.

It is known that the SIT has recently issued a 41A CrPC notice to BJP National General Secretary Bommerabettu Lakshmi Janardana Santosh. It said that he should attend the inquiry at the Police Command Control Center in Hyderabad on 21st of this month. It has been clarified that if he does not come, he will have to be arrested. While BL Santosh’s hometown is Udupi in Karnataka, the notice was issued with the address of Temple Street, Malleswaram, Bangalore. It is advised to bring a cell phone with SIM number 94498-31415 and IMEI number 353846108969790 while coming to the hearing. A SIT notice has been issued to Kerala doctor Jagguswamy, who is considered to be a key player in the case. He was advised to attend the hearing in Hyderabad on 21st of this month.
