The Bommanahalli police are on the lookout for a gang which abducted a private firm employee to recover the loan borrowed by his father-in-law.
The victim,Rajashekhar was abducted by the gang from Garvebhavipalya and later called his father-in law Lakshman Reddy from a mobile phone of Rajashekhar forcing him to pay money online and also demanded the loan amount.
The gang was torturing Rajashekhar to pressurize Laksahman Reddy to pay up as soon as possible.
Inquiries revealed that Lakshman Reddy had a financial dealing with a businessman,identified as Swaroop Shetty and taken a loan of Rs.5 lakh.
Though Reddy returned part of the money the rest of the money he did not pay and started avoiding.
Enraged by this, Shetty roped in his associates to abduct Rajashekhar to recover the loan.
The police are now trying to track down the gang to rescue him.
