The Chandra layout police have arrested a 40-year-old bus driver of a private school on the charges of raping a 32-year-old house keeping staff of a adjacent school on the pretext of dropping her home on Tuesday night .
Senior officers visited the spot when there is a quarrel between the accused and locals the accused identified as Shiva Kumar while the victim, a single parent working at a private school and living with her three children.
Senior officer told reporters, the victim was waiting for a bus in Nayandahalli junction.Evening around 5.30 pm on Tuesday when the accused going home alone in the bus offered to drop her .
The accused took the bus to Nagarabhavi service road near malai mahadeswar temple,kailasgiri and raped her forcefully.
Victim informed this incident to her son and took a bus picture in her phone. Later victim son found the bus and the driver and assaulted the driver .
Passers-by noticing the commotion informed to Chandra layout police who rushed to the spot and brought the duo to the station.
The police after a detailed questioning came to know about the incident and arrested the accused .
The accused have been charged with rape,attempt to murder,criminal intimidation,grievous hurt and Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty for further investigations .
