In view of the current situation between two states over the border dispute, it is not advisable for the Maharashtra ministers to visit Belagavi.
This message has been conveyed by the Karnataka Chief Secretary to her counterpart of that state through a fax message, said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
Reacting to the reports of Maharashtra ministers coming to Belagavi on December 6,the CM told reporters in Ramdurga on Friday that the state government would take the same steps which it had taken on the earlier occassions when similar attempts were made.
Let drinking water project become reality
Bommai said it was learnt that Maharashtra state has formulated a drinking water project for Jath taluk which is dominated by the Kannada speaking people since they were suffering a lot due to scarcity of water. Let the project become a reality and water reached the parched areas of Jath taluk.
