The High grounds police have registered a case of cheating and forgery against shuttle player and Arjun award winner,Lakshya sen among his parents, coach and brother on Thursday.
The others included in FIR includes his coach at Badminton Association and Prakash Padukone Badminton Academy coach Vimal Kumar,his father Direndra Sen,his brother Chirag and mother Nirmala
Sen.
The Complainant Nagaraju MG,in his complaint, accused Direndra sen and wife colluding with the coach admitted their sons to the academy forging the age.
The accused also got Lakshya and Chirag to participte in the tournaments in 2010 and win the tittle and availed the facilities offered by the government.
This according to Nagaraju,amounts to cheating the government and also depriving the chance of deserving children,he said in his complaint.
Nagaraju initially approached the police and later filed a private complaint with the court and got directions to the police to register an FIR and investigate said a senior officer.
