The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Monday,conducted raids on an educational institution owned by Karnataka Congress President DK Shivakumar,questioned the staff and verified the documents for assets evaluation related to Disproportionate Assets case,which was filed against him two years ago.
Reacting to the raids,Mr.Shivakumar said that it was nothing but harassment in the wake of upcoming elections.
They have done the launch of Bharat Jodo Yatra and even now they are doing.This is the second round,Let them carry out whatever investigations they want,i am ready to face,he said confidently”, Shivakumar, said .
The CBI has registered a case two years ago and since many rounds of investigations did not found anything,they are harassing my family members, relatives and even friends .
The advocate whom i paid a fee was also summoned by the CBI,Is this not a harassment,he questioned.,
My conscious is clear and my life,business and political career and political life is transparent,let them do whatever investigation they want, i am ready to face,he said.
