Nasal vaccine is not recommended after precaution dose, informed by covid task force

This is what the head of the Covid Task Force said.Dr. NK Arora said, “Nasal vaccine can be used only as the first booster dose. For example, if a person is taking a preemptive dose, he should not take this booster dose. The price of this vaccine was also announced by the central government on Tuesday.It is informed that this vaccine (Covid Vaccine) will be available in exchange of 800 rupees (excluding GST) in private hospitals. Anyone above 18 years of age can get this vaccine as a booster. A booster dose is recommended for those who have taken a double dose of Covaccine or CoviShield. However, many people plan to get the nasal vaccine even after receiving the vaccination dose. That is why the task force warned.Meanwhile, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandavya held a meeting with representatives of the Indian Medical Association (IMA) on Monday to deal with the fight against Covid-19. He made a special request to the experts there. Mandavya seeks permission for common man to take double booster dose to protect against deadly virus. Mandavya wants permission to give fourth dose especially for medical workers and frontline workers. However, no final decision has been taken yet.
