Cooperation field makes a big contribution to the state economy- CM Bommai

The Cooperation field is capable of contributing a lot to the progress of the State and the capacity of the cooperation must be utilized fully,said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.

Speaking at a conference of beneficiaries of Cooperation in which Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah participated here on Friday,he said the man is a social being due to which a city and the communities were built.

To be organized, cooperation is needed and mankind is standing on cooperation.Life will be beautiful if there is cooperation and with this slogan, the cooperation movement started.

S.S. Patil built the first cooperative in society in the State and started the cooperation movement. Since then this sector has grown as a big field.

The cooperation field has been doing well in Karnataka,Gujarat and Maharashtra.This field has grown especially in milk production and agriculture.

There are several milestones in the history of Karnataka’s cooperation field.In this regard,Apex bank,DCC Bank,Cooperative banks, and KMF are the best models.

The cooperation field can control the rural economy

The CM said a cordial relationship is required between the Cooperation and the government.This sector can be made more meaningful through economic, social,and academic activities.

It is also possible to check on the rural economy through this field and thinking is required in this regard.This sector is flourishing under the leadership of Cooperation Minister S.T.Somashekar who has been actively involved in the field.

Confidence must

Bommai said maintaining confidence is very important in the field of cooperation and to protect it they must do duty efficiently.

They must serve in the cooperation field but not become a rich cooperator.This sector required honesty and integrity.

Union Coal Minister Pralhad Joshi,former CM, D.V.Sadananda Gowda,Cooperation Minister S.T.Somashekar,Ministers Dr.C.N.Ashwath Narayana,R.Ashoka,and Araga Jnanendra were present.
