T he Banashankari police have arrested a 34-year-old conman from Uttar Pradesh who was getting credit cards and point of sale Machines (PoS) from the banks using fake credentials .
The accused Navaneet Pandey,resident of Banashankari 2nd stage was arrested based on a complaint filed by,Vivek,owner of a hotel .
The accused posing as Vivek,applied for PoS Machine from a private bank following which the bank executive had visited the hotel for inspection.
When the executive confronted Vivek,he was shocked to know that the accused Navaneet Pandey had applied posing as owner of the hotel which is actually owned by Vivek.
Something amiss,Vivek filed a complaint with the police.
Based on the complaint,the Banashankari police track down Navaneet Pandey and arrested him.
The police recovered 110 debit cards,110 credit cards from different banks,3 laptops,6 mobile phones and fake seals and documents from his house.
The accused was produced before the court and taken into custody to ascertain his criminal background.
