Gujarat: Shri Ravi Gandhi, Inspector General, BSF Gujarat Frontier is on border
visit of Bhuj Sector from 13th to 16th Jan’ 2023. He visited International Border
including Harami nalla and discussed the security related issues and addressed
all concerns.
He reviewed undergoing construction works along International Border and operational preparedness for effective border domination. While addressing the troops at different border outposts, Shri Gandhi applauded their role in safeguarding our country’s frontiers in a challenging scenario. While addressing the troops he said that they are the eyes and ears of the nation and apprised the troops about various welfare schemes and measure taken by the BSF. He further mentioned that security of the border’s is very vital for development of the nation. BSF is providing all assistance to the economic activities going on in the border area. BSF is the first line of defence of the nation. He reiterated the BSF vision of ‘Secure Border, Prosperous Nation’.
