The Kengeri police have arrested a good vehicle driver for murdering a man who was harassing his sister even after a break up .
The deceased has been identified as Satish, worked as a contract labourer while the accused Venkatesh has been arrested and remanded to judicial custody.
According to the police the accused Satish was having an affair with Venkatesh sister for the last three years and the duo break up over a fight .
However Satish used to come to her house and harass her to patch up.Unable to bear harassment,she complained to Venkatesh.
Enraged Venkatesh took Satish to an isolated place on NICE Road on the pretext of talk and warned him to stay away. Heated argument ensued between them in the melee,Venkatesh stabbed Satish using an Umbrella he was carrying,multiple times and later slit his throat using a knife when he crashed on the ground.
The accused later dumped the body under the bushes and escaped.The Kengeri police who recovered the body of Satish began to probe and zeroed in on Venkatesh through the CCTV images and the call record details of Satish.
A detailed questioning Venkatesh confessed to the crime and the police recovered his blood soaked cloths,knife and autorickshaw used to commit the murder.
Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,CH Pratap Reddy,has appreciated Addl CP West,Sandeep Patil,DCP West,Laxman B Nimbargi, ACP,Parameshwara,PI,HB Sanjeev Gowda,and other staff for the exemplary and meticulous investigation done by them in nabbing the accused a suitable reward will be given to whole team he added.
