Underscoring the need for a thinking on principle and ideology of the 12th century social reformer Basavanna, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said they need to ponder over the ways and means to do away with inequality, disparity and gender bias.
The mutts, which are into the duty of doing the social revolution,must be in the forefront,said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
Speaking at a function organised in connection with the 4th remembrance of the most reverred Dr Sri Shivakumar Swamiji,he said it is very difficult to maintain innocence and lead life with self-conscious. But it is possible for those who follow truth with satwik values and stay away from the materialistic profit and losses. Dr Shivakumar Swamiji led life with innocence and self-conscious.
Dedicating knowledge for the welfare of world is real Kayaka
The CM said Swami Vivekananda at an young age found out the Muktimarga.His teacher Ramakrishna Paramahamsa had told Vivekananda that the achievement is not anyone’s property and your achievement must give light to thousands of people.
Because of this reason,Swami Vivekananda became a world leader.Similarly, Dr Shivakumar Swamiji dedicated his knowledge for the welfare of the world.
Working self is duty but dedicating for the world is Kayaka.The devotees are the assets of this mutt and the god is Akshaya Patra.
Bommai Said Dr Shivakumar Swamiji did three types of Dasoha and became a Kayaka Yogi.The poor children are getting free food,health,education and shelter along with Samakara and Samskruti.
Dr Shivakumar Swamiji had believed poor and downtrodden as the masters.The current pontiff is feeding around 10000 children daily and contined other Dasohas continuously.
Bommai said the birth anniversary of Dr Shivakumar Swamiji will be celebrated as Dasoha Day and planning to celebrate world-wide to create a world record.
Sri Siddalingaswamiji of Siddaganga Mutt,Ministers V.Somanna,Araga Jnanendra,J C.Madhuswamy, S.T.Somashekar,MP Bhagwant Khuba and State BJP Vice-president B.Y.Vijayendra were present.
