The leaders like  Bimal Gurung, Binay Tamang (Binay Tamang), Ajay Edwards sing in it. In other words, separatism is rearing its head again in Darjeeling after losing power and withdrawing from democracy. Bimal Gurung is one of the  mainperson to raise the  Gorkhaland issue. But Hamro Party’s Ajay Edward and Trinamool (TMC) leader Vinay Tamang’s support to him is set to change hill politics again.Especially the ruling party of the state the TMC  is not taking this role of Binoy Tamang well. Arup Biswas, the in-charge minister for hills, has clearly indicated that action will be taken against him.On Monday, the Gorkha Janamukti Morcha organized a rally in Kalimpong on Netaji’s birthday. Bimal Gurung, Vinoy Tamang, Ajay Edwards were present  there. After their speeches which in essence, demanded a separate Gorkhaland for the sake of development. Vinoy Tamang while speaking said, “This is the demand of every Gorkha. I want a separate state for them. Along with others, Gurung, Edwards also has the same tone. Gurung also fixed the basic outline of the movement. According to him, the Morcha will approach the Center seeking a separate state through peaceful means rather than violent agitation. Incidentally, in 2017, during the Chief Minister’s administrative meeting in Darjeeling city, there were allegations of rioting against the then Morcha Supremo Gurung. After a temporary calm, the mountain became hot. Unceasing unrest ensued. However, no matter how united they are, they will not be able to give up on the demand for a separate state, Arup Biswas, the Trinamool leader in charge of Hills  and Power Minister Arup Biswas, has made it clear. After the event in Siliguri on Monday, in response to a question faced by reporters, he said, “There can be such a movement.” But no power in the world can divide Bengal. It is our responsibility to keep Bengal intact.Besides, he also  said, “No one is above the party. The party will act against those who deviate from the party’s policy. However, Binoy Tamang did not tell the party anything in writing.”
