hief Minister Basavaraj Bommai stressed on making introspection on the nation reaching at this point and the road to cover in the future.
Speaking at a function organised in connection Republic Day celebrations here on Thursday,he said most of them have born after the country became independent because of which they haven’t understood its importance.Those who were there before independence have understood its seriousness.
“We will know who we are when we have understand our country’s history and heritage.We must know what we can do for the country and self because the personal achievement of every individual is linked to the performance of the nation “.
Feel proud about our times
The CM said he listened to patriotic songs and felt proud about the country.This must be kept alive in them.
They must understand the Constitution given by Dr B.R.Ambedkar and became partner in nation building. They need for sacrifice for the cause of nation but they must live for the country.
Bommai said they were living in the golden period as called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and India is all set to gain an important position in the whole world.
At this juncture they must think what’s their contribution for the nation.The Department of Kannada and Culture has organised this function in a good way.
