Abhijit Ray,Kolkata:Police find clear communication link of top BJP leader with arrested ISF MLA Naushad Siddiqui. Sensational information has emerged in a WhatsApp chat of a top BJP leader with Naushad. Several irregularities including hawala money transactions have come to the fore. Alipur Bodyguard Line Commissioner of Police (CP) Vineet Goel said that the investigation is going on based on the important information that has been received.After the arrest in Dharmatala, the Kolkata Leather Complex police want to take Naushad Siddiqui and a female member into their custody again in the investigation of the clash in Hatishala. The two will be produced in the Baruipur court from jail on Friday.According to sources in Lalbazar, ISF leader Nowsad Siddique chatted with several leaders, including a top BJP leader, before the 2021 assembly polls. There are also indications that Naushad was asked by a top BJP leader to lodge a complaint with the Election Commission against some of the state officials involved in the polling process before the polls.Based on that complaint, he will go to Delhi and present the matter. Based on that, the officials will be removed before the election through the Election Commission. As a result, Lalbazar detectives are trying to find out whether Naushad’s ‘recommendation’ is behind the removal of administrative and police officers before the polls.An official of Lalbazar said that they have got evidence that Naushad has chatted on WhatsApp with several leaders of several political parties. As the central leader or leaders of the BJP who was in charge of the state before the assembly polls, the finger of accusation has been pointed at them. More suspicions have arisen surrounding chats with one of their top leaders.Before the polls, the intelligence police found the evidence of billions of rupees transactions of Naushad and ISF through hawala. An investigation has started on who sent that money from abroad. Even, the detectives are looking into whether they came through any source of BJP or not. An investigation is also going on whether the huge amount of money was used to remove officials before the polls.According to intelligence sources, several chats of Naushad have been deleted. Again some unknown numbers have chatted. So after recovering more chats and confirming about those with whom Naushad was in contact, both the mobiles of Naushad Siddiqui were sent for forensic examination by the police on Thursday. In this regard, Trinamool Congress (TMC) spokesperson Kunal Ghosh said, “Whatsapp has been manipulated with the top leader of BJP. All the facts will come out in the investigation.No one should use the being of Dharmaguru for any other purpose. The ISF should be probed into the death of the BJP’s all-India leader.”BJP leaderSubvendu Adhikari’s response, “Naushad also spoke to our chief constable in the assembly. If someone else is talking, well done. The top BJP leaders must have said, ‘Get people on the road, protest.” Meanwhile, Naushad’s secretary Malek Mollah was arrested, police said.
