Missing labourer found dead in Charmadi ghat,Four held by Yeshwanthpur police

he Yeshwanthpur police on Wednesday recovered the body of 20-year-old Govindaraju from Charmadi Ghat and arrested the four people who tortured and beat him to death for chatting with the accused sister .

The accused identified as Anil, Bharath, Kishore and Lohith assaulted Govindaraju black and blue following which he breath his last.

The deceased Govindaraju,resident of Andhrahalli and only son of Raghu,a labourer by profession,was friend with a college student and used to chat with her regularly.

Few days ago,the family members accidentally came to know about the girl chatting with the Govindaraju and even exchanging messages and videos.The girl had forgot her phone at home and left to college.

Enraged Family members called Govindaraju for a talk and one of them picked him up and took him to Byadarahalli where the other three accused were waiting.

The accused identified as Anil, Bharath, Kishore and Lohith assaulted Govindaraju black and blue following which he breath his last.

The accused later carried his body in a car and dumped in charmadi ghat and returned to the city .

Meanwhile the family members of Govindaraju found
him missing and not even responding from his phone. After repeated calls,one of the accused picked up the and informed the family members that Govindaraju was with them and will be back soon.

However when he did not return home even after one day,the family approached Yeshwanthpur police and filed a missing complaint.

Based on the technical inputs the police track down the accused and a detailed questioning led them to confess to the murder.

Based on their confession,the police recovered the body and taken the accused into custody for further investigations.
