Attending the convocation ceremony of St. Xavier’s University on Monday, Governor and Acharya CV Anand Bose praised Mamata Banerjee.The Chief Minister was given the D. Litt award by St. Xavier’s University on Monday. And the Governor appreciated the achievements of the Chief Minister by attending the event.He said that a worthy person is being honored. Bengal is proud to have a leader like Mamata Banerjee.On this day, the governor said, “I thank the university for organizing such a beautiful event. I am proud to have witnessed such a special moment.I am proud to have witnessed such a special moment. He praised the Chief Minister’s excellence in art and literature and said, “I am sincerely proud of my constitutional colleague.” this honor is not for political reasons.While appreciating the Chief Minister on the one hand, the President did not forget to mention the contribution of writers-literature on the one hand as well as the context of APJ Abdul Kalam’s ‘Wings of Fire’. He also said that worshiping knowledge means worshiping God. We should worship knowledge as we worship God.Besides, on this day, mentioning the struggle history of Swami Vivekananda, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. He said that the students are bringing Bengal to the top of the country. There is no doubt that Bengal is the foremost in the country in all aspects. Bengal is advancing like a sleeping giant across the world. Besides, the governor also brought up the matter of his beloved late daughter in his speech.He told the audience, “My daughter had told me that there are two things that worry me the most in life. One is healthiness and the other is sickness.It may be noted that the Chief Minister was given the D. Litt honor by St. Xavier’s University on Monday for her immense contribution to higher education. Several dignitaries including Governor CV Anand Bose, Education Minister Bratya Bose were present on the occasion. Certificates were handed over to a total of 770 students from the stage of the convocation ceremony.
But this is not the first time, earlier in 2018, Calcutta University honored Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee with the Delete Honour.The Chief Minister took the honor of deletion from the then Governor Kesrinath Tripathi. However, this is the first time that a private university has given the honor of deletion to Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
