The Jayanagar police on Monday arrested a habitual bike lifter and recovered 26 bikes worth Rs.22 lakhs which he has stolen from areas in and around south division.
The accused Murali Ramarao,resident of JC road was arrested based on a scooter theft case reported in Jayanagar station.
The police analyzed the CCTV footage to identify the accused and arrested him.
Based on his confession,the Jayanagar police recovered the bikes from Jayanagar,Banashankari , Tilaknagar and Siddapura police station limits.
