he CCB sleuths of Organised Crime Wing on tuesday busted a inter-state gun racket and arrested a Nagpur based gun runner recovered 10 countrymade pistol with 20 rounds of ammunition from him.
The accused has been identified as,Roshan Dayaram.
Senior officer told reporters acting on tip off a team headed by DCP Crime-2, Badrinath and his team swung into action and nabbed the gun runner who had come to sheshadripuram and was waiting at roadside to deliver the guns to his contacts when the police team tracked him down.
The accused was selling each pistol for Rs.35,000 and had sold it to many people before .It was an bigger inter state gun racket thriving in the city which is being probe further, Dr..SD Sharanappa, Joint Commissioner of police, appreciated whole team for their tireless efforts a suitable reward will be given to whole team he added.
