IAS Vs IPS Row: IAS officer’s husband files police complaint against IPS officer;After Public Spat Karnataka govt transferred,Munish Moudgil,among Rohini IAS,Roopa IPS,without posting

T he fight between IPS officer D Roopa and IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri on Monday reached another level with the latter’s husband Sudhir Reddy a city based realtor filed a complaint with the Bagalgunte Police Station accusing Ms.D Roopa of defamation and ourtaging the modesty.

Meanwhile on tuesday after a public spat karnataka government transferred IAS,Rohini Sindhuri,and IPS,D Roopa and her husband Munish Moudgil transferred.

While Munish Moudgil has been given the post of Principal Secretary in the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms,Roopa and Rohini have been kept waiting for postings

Mr.Reddy in his complaint said that the IPS officer has allegedly accessed the private photos of his wife through hacking and sought legal action.

The Bagalagunte police have received the complaint and seeking legal opinion to pursue the complaint.

Reacting to the media Mr.Reddy,said that the photos in questions were old and are private and personal in nature .

He demanded probe to ascertain the source of the photos and refuted the allegation that Sindhuri did not share her photos on social media.

Referring to the allegation he said that the names of the IAS officers with whom Sindhuri has allegedly shared the photos or from where she had sourced the pictures, he said .

Reacting to Roopa’s other allegations,Roopa being senior in the department is misusing the official power . There could be a personal agenda or she is doing this out of jealousy,he said .

Meanwhile city based RTI activist,Dinesh Kallahalli filed a complaint with the Chief Secretary and the Lokayukta demanding probe on Roopa’ allegation against Rohini Sindhuri under All India service (conduct) rules .

The allegations made by Ms.Roopa are serious in nature and the department should probe in detail to get to the truth and take legal action against the erring officials, he said,in his complaint.
