Conman booked for creating fake website of reputed college misusing college name and logo offering admission to cheat gulible people

The North Division cyber crime police are on the lookout for a person who had created website of a reputed college misusing the college name and Logo, offering admission to cheat gullible people.

The accused operating the website in the name (www.ramaiahcollege.com ),since January this year. The incident came to light when someone brought it to the notice of the college administration recently .

In his complaint prof.said that the accused had also left a contact number for the people to approach him for the admission quarries .

Based on the complaint filed by prof.Prasad Linganna, from MS Ramaiah foundation,the police have registered a case against unknown person charging him under cheating by impersonation under IT act on Friday.police are now trying to track down the accused .
