Praveen Nettaru Murder Case Most Wanted Prime accused part of service team (Hit team) member arrested by NIA in Bengaluru

IA officials on Saturday tracked down absconding accused in BJP youth leader Praveen Nettaru Murder Case from Amrutahalli where he was living in a rented house for the past few months.

The accused,Thufail M H,according to the NIA official is part of Service Team (Hit Team) member which attacked and hacked Praveen to death on July 26 last year.

Thufail M H,Kodagu District Head of PFI Service Team (Hit Team) and former PFI District Secretary of Kodagu District,was living alone at a three storeyed building as tenant in Maruthi Layout .

According to the building owner,Nanjundappa,he lived alone and not talking to anyone.

After painstakingly pursuing and developing leads from various sources,a NIA team managed to hole out & overpower absconder Thufail M H from his hideout in Amaruthahalli area.

A team posing as plumbers gained entry and pinned down Thufail while he was busy preparing dinner for himself.

An official release by NIA,says Thufail was wanted in the murder case of Praveen Nettaru,BJP Yuva Morcha Member,who was murdered by PFI cadres in July 2022 in Bellare village of Sullia Taluk in Dakshina Kannada District.

In January this year NIA filed Charge-Sheet against 20 accused persons before NIA Special Court,Bengaluru, including 6 absconding accused.

The NIA had also announced a cash reward of Rs.5 lakh on the absconding accused .

Thufail M H had played a significant role in PFI’s larger conspiracy to murder leaders of a particular community.

He also provided shelter and safe harbor at Ashiyana residency of Koppa Village,Mysuru District to the 3 assailants of this case,who had recced and then hacked Praveen Nettaru to death.

Earlier,Thufail M H was accused in Prashanth Poojari murder case,registered in Kushalnagar Rural PS and attempt to murder VHP leader Ganesh,case registered in Madikeri Rural PS.
