waste material, godown was gutted and five labourers sleeping in the shed have had a narrows escape from an accidental fire broke out in the middle of the night at Nayandahalli on Thursday night .
BBMP Marshalls who were on the night rounds in the area noticed the fire and rushed to the spot and alerted the labourers sleeping in the godown.
They ran out to safety before the fire engulfed the entire godown within minutes .
The godown had a storage of empty plastic bottles and waste materials worth several lakhs destroyed in the fire .
Five tenders rushed to the spot and put out the fire after three hours of struggle.The Byatarayanapura police reached the spot and now probing to ascertain the cause of the fire mishap said a senior officer.
