Will not rest till Mahadayi River flows into Malaprabha river- CM Bommai declares;Congress has no moral right to talk about farmers

P rime Minister Narendra Modi gave his nod for DPR for Kalasa-Bandura,Mahadayi project, and the environmental clearance is expected soon.

Till the Mahadayi river water flows into the Malaprabha River from Yellammana Kolla up to Banashankari,he will not rest,declared Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.

Speaking at Vijaya Sankalp yatra here on Friday, the CM said he walked 265 km on a motorable road for the Kalasa-Bandura, Mahadayi project and the then government was shaken.

The coalition government refused to implement this project.At that time,the then AICC Chairperson Sonia Gandhi told in a public rally in Goa that not a drop of the Mahadayi river will be given to Karnataka.

The then Congress Government booted women agitators of Nargund-Navalgund and beat farmers black and blue.The Congress Party did not have any moral right to talk about farmers.

Bommai said Nargund MLA C.C.Patil developed Nargund city by spending Rs.1800 crore and shown how to make the impossible,possible.

The Congress said they cannot hike the quota for SC/ST but the BJP Government did it.The Congress says the Kalasa-Bandura project cannot be implemented, but the incumbent government showed the way to implement it.

We are keeping the works done by us in the last four years and seek your blessings.We need not come to power through cheating.The ongoing Vijaya Sankalp yatra-2023 is sure to become Vijayotsava Yatra”.

The CM said the government has implemented several schemes for the benefit of farmers,women,girl students,working classes,citizens,and others.

Women working in fields will be given a monthly purse of Rs.1000 and the working women will get a free bus pass. The girl students will be given free education from PU up to degree courses.

Ministers,Govind Karjol,C.C.Patil,Murgesh Nirani,MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi, and MLC Laxman Savadi were present.
