car in the busy traffic near Nayandahalli metro station was gutted in an accidental fire on Friday afternoon.
The driver of the car noticed the smoke coming out from the engine and stopped the car and jumped out to safety before the fire broke out.
A traffic police deployed near-by rushed to the spot and diverted the traffic before alerting the fire control room.
A fire tender rushed to the spot and put out the fire the car was later pushed out of the road to allow smooth movement of the traffic .
The Byatarayanapura police are probing to ascertain the cause of fire.
