The Annapoorneshwarinagar police have registered a case against the family of a IAS officer and the contractor under Explosive substances act for using dynamite to carry out blasts at the construction site .
City based advocate Somashekhar DE,resident of Kuvempu Main Road,Gidadakonenahalli in his complaint said that due to the explosion his house developed cracks .
When he questioned the accused they threatened him with dire consequences,following which Mr.Dhananjay approached the police and filed a complaint.
The accused are undertaking construction of school and while constructing basement they found a rock and used dynamite to blast and cleared the rock.
Due to the explosion,panic gripped among the residents and his house adjacent to the construction site developed cracks .
On Saturday an FSL team visited the blast site and analyzed the situation.We have now summoned the accused for questioning.
