CM Bommai announce a 12 percent bonus hike for rubber plantation tappers

Since the rubber plantation tappers are not given the bonus since the Covid pandemic,along with the existing 8 percent bonus given by Karnataka State Forest Development Corporation,another 12 percent will be added,and paid 20 percent bonus for them,said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.

Speaking after inaugurating the convention of beneficiaries of the state and union governments and public meeting here on Thursday, he said in every Assembly segment, SC/ST community beneficiaries are given one hundred vehicles. Instructions are given to build 4000 Anganwadi and toilets. “Ours is responsive government”.

Prosperous Karnataka

The CM said the country is witnessing rapid development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Government of India banned the PFI that had created social unrest in the coastal areas and got rid of anti-national elements.

The per capita income in Karnataka is Rs.3.47 lakh and the government has focussed on economic development,education,employment,and empowerment.

Several schemes such as Viveka,Namma Clinic, degradation of PHCs, improvement in healthcare,and development of hospitals have been launched for the sake of poor patients.

Development of Karnataka through the progress of Coastal Karnataka

Bommai said the government has hiked the diesel quota to Rs.2 lakh and incurs 50 percent of the cost for the conversion of traditional boats into diesel boats. Problems of people are attended to immediately.

Jettyboats are constructed between Lakshadeep and Mangaluru for Rs.65 crore to also help the development of tourism.

The citizens are provided the waterway facility to Mangaluru, Karwar, Goa, and Mumbai.The coastal areas must develop further and then only GDP will increase.It will enable the employment of youth. In the development of the coastal areas, the state must also develop.

Simplification of CRZ rules

The CM said the Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) rules of the Government of India for the coastal areas are simplified and this was 35-year-old demand.

This will help in economic activities, tourism, and industry on a big scale.For the first time,permission has been given to Marina.

Besides,the government has sanctioned the development of Mangaluru and Karwar ports,eight finishing ports, and a floating jetty.

Permission has been given for the use of wave-breaking technology to check the sea erosion and it will be done in Battampadi.
