The indefinite strike of RJCTU (Ramniranjan Jhunjhunwala College Teachers Unit, Ghatkopar, Mumbai) who has jointly ventured with MJCTU.

It’s a time to stand strongly for teachers cause. Our Reporter Mr Mithun Bundela Talk to College Teachers. They Said that, the most important demand of teachers is Old Pension Scheme which must be implemented for Jr. College teachers. We should not be deprived from this government scheme. We all are participating in this mission with huge numbers.There is intense co-ordination of government, semi-government,teaching and non teaching employees to go on indefinite strike from 14.3.2023 to press for the following major demands.


i) Implementation of Old pension
ii) Retirement age to be increased to 60years .
iii)Assured Career Progression Scheme after 10,20,30years of service.
iv)Immediate recruitment of teachers to fill up the vacancies.
We all are united with all this needed demands.RJ college Ghatkopar (w) is a powerful supporter of union and completely involved in this strike. Our unity is our strength . Our college management authorities are strong supporters of teachers issues.We demand justice for our teachers hardwork ,dedication honestly towards their service.We are also taking part on different levels to make government aware about our significant issues like 23rd is Black day ,24th is My Family my Pension.. with all this agitation we are planning to make government inform our demands. Under the guidance of MJCTU and active RJ teachers of jr. College and it’s union members we will going to win our battle. In this strike, Mrs. Brinda Chauhan Abhange (Chairperson), Mrs. Sangeeta Singh (Secretary), Dr. C P Singh and Mr. Sopan Khedekar (Treasure), Mr. Pramod Biradar (Central union member) Mrs.Seema Gadre , Mrs.Deepa Thanekar ,Mrs.Poonam Das , Mr.RatanSingh Vaidya and Mr Suraj shukla were present.
